City of Petersburg City Council Personal Committee met April 20.
Here is the minutes provided by the committee:
I. CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Rick Snyder called the Personnel Committee to order at 8:15 p.m.
II. PRELIMINARY MATTERS
A. Members present were Chairman Rick Sonnemaker, Andrew Gain and Bruce Gorman. Also present were City Clerk Ken Ortman and mayor Rick Snyder.
III. EMPLOYEE PAY SCALE AND RAISES
A. Discussion on pay structure and how we are going to get ahead of the curve for the $15.00 per hour required by the State in the next 3 years.
B. Discussion on Supervisors to do Employee evaluations before the end of the Physical year in April.
C Discussion on making Sprayer Licenses and CDL Permit as part of the position instead of an increase in pay.
IV. COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATIONS
A. Discussion on providing individual raises.
V. ADJOURNMENT
A motion was made by Alderman Gain and seconded by Alderman Sonnemaker to adjourn the meeting. VOTES: Gain, yes; Sonnemaker, yes. MOTION CARRIED. Meeting Adjourned at 9:15 p.m.
