Village of Divernon Board of Trustees Met July 6.

A special meeting of the Village of Divernon Board of Trustees was held at the Village Hall. Village President Jim Copelin called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. Clerk Gail Hedges called roll: Jim Copelin “Here”, Craig Busch “Here”, Joe Bukantos “Here”, Chuck Apgar “Here”, Tyler Bramley “Here”, Dianne Brenning “Here”, Larry Baer “Here”.

The purpose of the special meeting was to pass an ordinance allowing for the sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages on the Village Park on July 10, 2021, and also pass an ordinance appropriating for all corporate purposes for the period May 1, 2021 through April 30, 2022.

Busch made a motion to approve the ordinance allowing for the sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages in the Village Park on July 10, 2021. Bramley seconded. The motion carried 6-0.

Baer made a motion to approve the ordinance appropriating for all corporate purposes for the period May 1, 2021 through April 30, 2022. Brenning seconded. The motion carried 6-0.

A motion was made by Baer to adjourn at 6:33 p.m.
