Atlanta median home prices rose by 35.4% in June 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in June 2019 in Atlanta rose by $42,500 while total sales decreased by 40%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In June 2019, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $162,500 - a 35.4% increase over the $120,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were five homes sold in Atlanta in June 2018.

The median sales tax in Atlanta for 2019 was $1,913. In 2018, the median sales tax was $1,868. This marks an increase of 2.4%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.2%.
