Home prices increased in Hartsburg during the second half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2019 in Hartsburg rose by $6,688 while total sales increased by 75%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2019, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $49,750 - a 15.5% increase over the $43,063 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Hartsburg in the second half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Hartsburg for 2019 was $1,130. In 2018, the median sales tax was $1,142. This marks an decrease of 1.1%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.3%.
