September 2021: Home prices in Rochester fell

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2021 in Rochester fell by $20,450 while total sales increased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2021, there were nine homes sold, with a median sale price of $200,000 - a 9.3% decrease over the $220,450 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were six homes sold in Rochester in September 2020.

The median sales tax in Rochester for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $3,635, approximately 1.8% of the median home sale price for September 2021.
