Median home prices in Southern View rose to $66,500 in the third quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2021 in Southern View, a Springfield neighborhood, rose by $15,500 while total sales increased by 62.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2021, there were 13 homes sold, with a median sale price of $66,500 - a 30.4% increase over the $51,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were eight homes sold in Southern View in the third quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Southern View for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,265, approximately 1.9% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2021.
