The third quarter of 2021: Home prices in Route 4/ Route 97 fell

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2021 in Route 4/ Route 97, a Springfield neighborhood, fell by $32,000 while total sales increased by 40%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2021, there were 21 homes sold, with a median sale price of $95,000 - a 25.2% decrease over the $127,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 15 homes sold in Route 4/ Route 97 in the third quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Route 4/ Route 97 for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $2,083, approximately 2.2% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2021.
