What happened to the median home price in Route 4/ Route 97 during the second half of 2021?

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in Route 4/ Route 97, a Springfield neighborhood, fell by $18,450 while total sales increased by 11.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were 38 homes sold, with a median sale price of $95,000 - a 16.3% decrease over the $113,450 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 34 homes sold in Route 4/ Route 97 in the second half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Route 4/ Route 97 for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $2,083, approximately 2.2% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2021.
