Village of Chatham Village Board met Sept. 20.

A. Call to Order
Village President Dave Kimsey called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm.

3. Roll Call
Present: Trustee Carl Try; Trustee Meredith Ferguson; Trustee Kristen Chiaro; Trustee Tim Nice and Village President Dave Kimsey.
Absent: Trustees Brett Gerger, John Fletcher.
Also Present: Village Clerk Dan Holden.
4. Public Announcements:
There were no Public Announcements at this meeting.
5. Public Comments Agenda Topics:
There were no public comments on Agenda topics.
B. Old Business
There was no Old Business discussed at this meeting.
C. New Business
1. An Ordinance, 22-40, waiving the park regulations to allow alcoholic beverages at certain village parks for September 24, 2022 and September 25, for the Chatham Jaycees.
A motion was made by Trustee Nice to place the Ordinance on the table for discussion. This motion was seconded by Trustee Ferguson. By a 4-0-2 vote of the Trustees present, the motion passed. The vote was as follows: Trustee Nice – yes; Trustee Ferguson – yes; Trustee Try – yes; Trustee Chiaro – yes; Trustee Fletcher – absent; Trustee – Gerger – absent.

A motion was made by Trustee Chiaro to adjourn the Special Village Board meeting. This motion was seconded by Trustee Try. By an affirmative voice vote of the members present, the motion passed and the meeting was adjourned at 6:01 pm.
