Village of Sherman Board of Trustees met Sept. 2.

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

VILLAGE BOARD IN ATTENDANCE 

Trevor J. Clatfelter, President; Sean Bull, Trustee; Brian Long, Trustee; Kevin Schultz, Trustee 

Excused Absence: Pam Gray, Trustee; Bret Hahn, Trustee; Kim Rockford, Trustee 

OFFICIALS IN ATTENDANCE 

Kevin Kuhn, Village Engineer; Michael Stratton, Deputy Clerk & Village Administrator 

PUBLIC IN ATTENDANCE (From Sign-In Sheet) 

No One Signed In. 

OPENING 

1. Roll Call. Deputy Clerk Stratton conducted roll call of the Village Board of Trustees. President Clatfelter noted that a quorum was present to conduct Village business and that Trustee Rockford, Trustee Hahn, Trustee Gray had excused absences. 

2. Pledge of Allegiance. Kevin Kuhn led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance. 

ACTION ITEMS 

1. Ordinance Regarding Acceptance of Bid & Authorization to Execute Agreement for Mill & Overlay Capital Improvement Program for Village of Sherman. President Clatfelter addressed the Board about the bids received for the 2022 Mill and Overlay program for certain roads in the Village of Sherman. President Clatfeleter noted the lowest bid was from Truman Flatt & Sons Co., Inc. in the amount of $1,622,583.37 and asked if there were any questions of the Board. Their being none, President Clatfelter requested a Motion to approve Ordinance No 22-14 Accepting Bid for Capital Improvement Plan 2022 as presented. Motion by Trustee Long, second by Trustee Bull. Roll Call vote with 4 ayes and 0 nays. Motion passed. 

ADJOURNMENT 

President Clatfelter noted there were no further matters to come before the Board requested a motion to adjourn the public meeting. Motion by Trustee Long; seconded by Trustee Bull. Voice Vote with Ayes having it 4/0. Motion Passed. Public Meeting was adjourned at 1:13pm.
