SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – As the winter season approaches and inclement weather sets in, Springfield is dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of its residents. The city would like to announce the opening of several designated warming centers, providing relief for those seeking shelter from the cold. These centers will be open during their regular business hours and will offer a warm environment for individuals in need of relief from harsh weather conditions.
The following locations have been designated as warming centers:
Municipal Center East

Municipal Center West
