The majority of the hallway ceilings and light fixtures have been removed as well as the wall between the two storage rooms. The parapet walls are being reinforced will plywood accept the new roofing materials and some of the rooftop A/C units have been taken off of the roof temporarily, to accommodate the roof replacement. The renovation cost does not reflect any additional costs for Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment (FFE) such as appliances and/or furniture.

GHS Sports Complex Pole Lighting

The district hired B&B Electric to make repairs to the pole lighting at the GHS Sports Complex. The work involved replacing ballasts, bulbs, circuit breakers and fuses. The lighting for the football and soccer fields should be 100% operational.

GIS Boiler Replacement

Due to a cracked heat exchanger on one of the three boilers, boiler # 3 needed to be replaced. A new, more efficient boiler was installed in early October by E.L. Pruitt. The new unit is currently being programmed to operate using the districts building automation software. And will be commissioned to operate shortly thereafter.
