The City of Springfield Offers an Updated List of Warming Centers for Relief From Cold Weather

SPRINGFIELD, ILLINOIS – As inclement weather sets in, Springfield is dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of its residents. As a reminder, the community is advised that designated warming centers are available to those seeking relief from the cold. These centers will be open during their regular business hours and provide a warm environment for individuals in need of respite from the harsh weather conditions.

The following locations have been designated as warming centers: Municipal Center East

Municipal Center West 300 S. Seventh Street Springfield, IL 62701

Mon-Fri 8:00a.m.-5:00p.m.


Lincoln Library
