Approval of Minutes from February 13th 

New Business 

Public Health, John Ridley 

1. Approval to hire a replacement Lab Technician II at an annual salary of $57,233.25 effective 2/28/24; the previous employee moved to a different position within the department on 1/5/24 and left the position at an annual salary of $57,233.25. 

2. Approval to hire a replacement HFI Support Worker at an annual salary of up to $65,531 effective 2/28/24; the previous employee moved to a different position within the department on 12/17/23 and left the position at an annual salary of $58,000. 

3. Approval to hire a replacement Disease Intervention Specialist at an annual salary of up to $65,531 effective 2/28/24; the previous employee left the position on 11/30/23 at an annual salary of $44,686.77 and left the payroll system on 12/8/23. 

4. Approval to hire a replacement E.I. Service Coordinator at an annual salary of up to $61,527 effective 3/16/24; the previous employee left the position on 1/31/24 at an annual salary of $55,000 and will leave the payroll on 2/16/24.

Sheriff, Jack Campbell 

1. Resolution to approve the application and forward to Finance for acceptance of the State and Community Highway Safety/National Priority Safety Program Grant with anticipated grant revenue of $40,071.17, matching funds not required. 

2. Approval to hire a replacement Correctional Officer at an annual salary of $41,573 effective 3/4/24; the previous employee left the position at an annual salary of $44,256 on 1/22/24 and left the payroll system on 2/2/24. 

3. Approval to hire a replacement Deputy at an annual salary of $55,210 effective 3/4/24; the previous employee left the position at an annual salary of $59,445 on 1/22/24 and left the payroll system on 2/2/24. 

4. Approval to hire a replacement Lieutenant at an annual salary range of $63,500-$87,431 effective 5/13/24; the previous employee will leave the position at an annual salary of $87,431 on 4/1/24 and will leave the payroll system on 4/12/24. 

5. Approval to promote and adjust salary for Alex Gillespie, from a Sergeant to a Lieutenant effective 4/2/24. His salary will change from $83,080 to $86,756.

Coroner, Jim Allmon 

1. Approval to hire for an Internship at an annual salary of $2,000 effective 3/1/24; the previous  employee left the position at an annual salary of $2,000 on 9/1/23 and left the payroll system on 9/15/23. 

Human Resources & Jim Allmon, Coroner's Office, Charlie Stratton 

1. Approval to hire Dr. Nate Patterson, Pathologist, at an annual salary of $265,000 effective 3/1/24. 

Treasurer, Joe Aiello 

1. Purchase Order-Frank Farley, dba Quicksilver Mailing for tax bill printing in the amount of $13,856.21. 

Regional Planning, Molly Berns 

1. Purchase Order-CliftonLarsonAllen, LLP for the FY2023 audit in the amount of $7,995. 

County Board, Brian McFadden 

1. Purchase Order & County Board Resolution- City of Springfield for the Grow Our Own Minority Participation Program in the amount of $40,000.
