City of Petersburg Water Committee met Feb. 29.

Discussed need for repair and bid for main replacement along RT 97 south of Adams ST.
The committee recommended accepting the bid from Petersburg Plumbing and Excavating for $164,970.00
Discussed the need to replace 3 old water department trucks due to a variety of issues regarding front suspension and transmission issues.
The committee recommends reviewing budgetary funds and checking with vendors to see what inventory may be available to meet the water department needs.
The committee recommends expedition this expenditure as much as possible.
