1. Approval to hire a Benefits Coordinator/Payroll Tech at an annual salary range of $55,628-69,535 effective 5/15/24; the previous employee left the position on 3/22/24 at an annual salary of $53,116.44 and left the payroll system on 3/29/24. 

Circuit Clerk, Joe Roesch 

1. Approval to hire a replacement Assistant Manager - Accounting Division at an annual salary of $40,352.78 effective 6/10/24; the previous employee left the position on 4/24/24 at an annual salary of $40,352.78 and will leave the payroll system on 5/10/24. 

2. Approval to hire a replacement Assistant Manager - Traffic Division at an annual salary of $40,352.78 effective 6/10/24; the previous employee left the position on 4/24/24 at an annual salary of $40,352.78 and will leave the payroll system on 5/10/24.

State's Attorney - John Milhiser 

1. Approval to promote & adjust salary for Cody Follis effective 5/20/24. His current title is ASA Level 2 and will change to Level 3. His salary will change from $72,855 to $80,000. 

2. Approval to hire a replacement Lead Worker at an annual salary of up to $35,000 effective on or after 5/26/24; the previous employee left the position on 4/12/24 at an annual salary of $35,000 and left the payroll system on 4/26/24. 

3. Approval to hire a replacement Administrative Secretary at an annual salary of $36,409 on or after 5/15/24; the previous employee was promoted on 4/15/24 and left the position at an annual salary of $36,000.

Highway, Brian Davis 

1. Approval to adjust salary for Highway Maintenance Crew Chief-union position with an increase in salary from $53, 186.44 to $60,450 effective 5/15/24. 

County Clerk, Don Gray 

1. Approve a salary adjustment for Garrett Dietel, Deputy Clerk-Vital Records, with  an increase in salary from $40,459.57 to $41,459.58 effective 5/15/24. This is an additional duties increase. 

2. Approve a salary adjustment for Drew McKinney, Deputy Clerk-Vital Records, with  an increase in salary from $40,324.76 to $41,524.76 effective 5/15/24. This is an additional duties increase. 

3. Approve a salary adjustment for Lisa Kirchgesner, Deputy Clerk-Vital Records,  with an increase in salary from $35,061.89 to $38,586.45 effective 5/15/24. This is an additional duties increase. 

4. Approve a salary adjustment for Angie Dennison, Administrative Assistant-Elections, with an increase in salary from $47,202.29 to $50,952.29 effective 5/15/24. This is an additional duties increase. 

5. Approve a salary adjustment for Alex Edwards, Elections Clerk, with an increase in salary from $34,264.04 to $37,564.04 effective 5/15/24. This is an additional duties increase. 

6. Approve a salary adjustment for Don Broughton, Deputy Clerk-Elections, with an increase in salary from $40,586.24 to $43,386.24 effective 5/15/24. This is an additional duties increase. 

7. Approve a salary adjustment for Rudy Goode, Elections Clerk, with an increase in salary from $34,417.31 to $37,167.31 effective 5/15/24. This is an additional duties increase. 

Heartland Housed, Josh Sabo 

1. Approval to hire a replacement System Support Specialist at an annual salary range of $36,409-45,511 effective 5/14/24; the previous employee left the position on 3/1/24 at an annual salary of $43,820.40 and left the payroll system on 3/15/24. 

Community Resources, Dave MacDonna 

1. Approval to hire a replacement Caseworker at an annual salary of $30,002-37,503 effective 5/15/24; the previous employee left the position on 5/13/23 at an annual salary of $37,079.06 and left the payroll system on 5/26/23. 

2. Approval to hire a CSBG Intake Clerk at an annual salary range of $31,000-34,000 effective 5/15/24; the previous employee left the position on 3/26/24 at an annual salary of $33,632 and left the payroll system on 4/12/24.

Sheriff, Jack Campbell 

1. Approval to hire a replacement Records Clerk at an annual salary of $33,205.53 effective 5/15/24; the previous employee left the position at an annual salary of $44,681.73 on 4/3/24 and left the payroll system on 4/12/24. 

2. Approval to hire a replacement Control Room Operator at an annual salary of $37,551 effective 5/15/24; the previous employee left the position at an annual salary of $37,551 on 3/10/24 to become a Correctional Officer. 

3. Approval to hire a replacement Correctional Officer Sergeant at an annual salary range of $50,010-83,728 effective 5/15/24; the previous employee was promoted to Lieutenant on 4/2/24 and left at an annual salary of $83,080.

Child Advocacy, Denise Johnson 

1. Resolution to approve the application and forward to the County Board for acceptance of the FY25 Department of Children & Family Services grant from DCFS in the amount of $291,365.28. This is a renewal. Matching funds not required. 

2. Resolution to approve the application for acceptance of the Dual Status Youth Initiative grant from the Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts in the amount of $13,561. This is a new grant. Matching funds not required.

Public Health, John Ridley 

1. Approve a salary adjustment for Hilary Yarnell, Supervisor of Clinic Services with an increase in salary from $70,129.17 to $77,142.09 effective 5/20/24. This is an additional duties increase. 

2. Approval to hire a replacement El Service Coordinator at an annual salary of up to $61,527 effective 5/15/24; the previous employee was promoted on 4/8/24 and left the position at an annual salary of $53,461.08. 

3. Approval to hire a replacement RN/Case Manager-Menard County at an annual salary of up to $65,531 effective 5/26/24; the previous employee left the position on 4/12/24 at an annual salary of $60,450 and left the payroll on 4/26/24. 4. Approval to hire a replacement Animal Technician at an annual salary of 

$37,856.07 effective 5/26/24; the previous employee left the position on 4/7/24 at an annual salary of $37,856.07 and left the payroll on 4/26/24. 

5. Approval to hire a replacement Clerk Typist II-Clinic at an annual salary of $41,095.80 effective 5/26/24; the previous employee left the position on 4/12/24 at an annual salary of $41,095.80 and left the payroll on 4/26/24. 

6. Resolution to approve the application and forward to Finance for acceptance of the Respiratory Surveillance and Outbreak Response from the Illinois Department of Public Health in the amount of $740,000. This is a new grant. Matching funds not required. 

7. Resolution to approve the application and forward to Finance for acceptance of the Early Intervention Grant from the Illinois Department of Human Services in the amount of $1,123,762. This is a renewal. Matching funds not required. 

8. Resolution to approve the application and forward to Finance for acceptance of the State Opioid Response Grant from the Illinois Department of Human Services in the amount of $675,000. This is a renewal. Matching funds not required.

9. Resolution to approve the application and forward to Finance for acceptance of the Firearm Safe Storage Strategies Grant from the Illinois Department of Public Health in the amount of $60,000. This is a new grant. Matching funds not required.

County Administrator, Brian McFadden 

1. Resolution setting the salaries for the Circuit Clerk, Auditor, Coroner and Recorder.
