Approval of the Minutes from June 6th 

New Business/Department Updates: 

Court Administration – Suzann Maxheimer 

State's Attorney – John Milhiser 

Public Defender's Office – Craig Reiser 

1. Approval to Hire a Summer Intern at an annual salary of $5,500 (for the summer) effective  5/15/25. This is a temporary part time position with anticipated dates of employment of 5/15/25- 8/5/25.

Circuit Clerk - Joe Roesch/Paula Crouch/Erin Tozer 

1. Purchase Order-DOSarrest Internet Security for annual iinternet security software for website at a cost of $6,000. 

2. Purchase Order-Levi Ray & Shoup for Optical Drives-annual maintenance at a cost of $16,407.75. 

3. Approval to Hire a replacement Assistant Manager-Court Clerk Division at an annual salary of $40,352.78 effective 8/19/24; the previous employee will leave the position on 7/9/24 at an annual salary of $40,352.78 and will leave the payroll system on 7/19/24. 

4. Pre-Travel Approval for Civil Division Manager Suzanne Ushman to attend the Illinois Association of Court Clerks conference (IACC) in Champaign, IL from 8/28-8/30/24 at a cost of $806.20. 

5. Pre-Travel Approval for Chief Deputy Erin Tozer to attend the Illinois Association of Court Clerks conference (IACC) in Champaign, IL from 8/28-8/30/24 at a cost of $806.20.

Court Services - Kent Holsopple 

1. Approval to hire a replacement Probation Officer at an annual salary of $47,117 effective 7/15/24; the previous employee left the position on 6/14/24 at an annual salary of $47,117 and left the payroll system on 6/21/24. Requesting waiver of the 30 day lag. Position is 100% reimbursed by the Administrative Office of Illinois Courts. 

2. Approval to hire a replacement Detention Officer at an annual salary of $47,117 effective 7/15/24; the previous employee left the position on 6/12/24 at an annual salary of $47,117 and left the payroll system on 6/21/24. Requesting waiver of the 30 day lag. Position is 100% reimbursed by the Administrative Office of Illinois Courts. 

3. Approval to hire a replacement Detention Officer at an annual salary of $47,117 effective 7/15/24; the previous employee left the position on 11/15/23 at an annual salary of $43,627 and left the payroll system on 11/22/23. Previous approval has expired. 

4. Approval to hire a replacement Detention Officer at an annual salary of $47,117 effective 7/15/24; the previous employee left the position on 10/24/23 at an annual salary of $43,627 and left the payroll system on 11/10/23. Previous approval has expired. 

5. Approval to adjust salary for Trisha Welsh, Administrative Support Supervisor effective 7/1/24. Her annual salary will change from $60,683 to $63,110. This position is 90% funded by 3 separate grants and this salary adjustment reflects additional grant responsibilities with those grants. 

6. Purchase Order-Metrasens for a portable metal detector for the Juvenile Detention Center in the amount of $17,500.

• Procurement/Grant Notifications (report only) Emergency purchase order-Cook County for out of county bed space in the amount of $75,000. Approved by Brian McFadden
