State Representative Mike Coffey (R-Springfield) issued a statement in response to the video release of Sonya Massey at her home on July 6, 2024.
“Sonya Massey’s life will be remembered in Springfield and across the nation. My thoughts and prayers are with the Massey family as they grieve a senseless loss of life. Everyone should feel safe inside their home and what we watched during the video footage is devastating to the whole community.”
