State Senator Tom Bennett | Illinois General Assembly
State Senator Tom Bennett is offering a "Constituent Education Resource Card" for residents traveling to the Chicagoland area. This card, also known as a free museum pass, allows constituents from the 53rd District to visit several prominent Illinois museums at no charge.
The museums included in this program are:
- Adler Planetarium
- The Art Institute of Chicago
- Brookfield Zoo
- Chicago Botanic Garden
- Chicago Children’s Museum
- Chicago History Museum
- DuSable Museum of African American History
- The Field Museum
- Lincoln Park Zoo
- Museum of Contemporary Art
- Museum of Science and Industry
- National Museum of Mexican Art
- National Museum of Puerto Rican Arts & Culture
- Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum
- John G. Shedd Aquarium
The pass is provided by the Museums in the Park Organization to Senator Bennett's office. Only one group of up to four people can reserve the pass at a time. It must be reserved in advance and picked up and returned to the district office promptly. Constituents need to fill out an online form and call the district office before visiting any museums.
Families using the card are advised to contact each museum they plan to visit to check if pre-registration is required.
