JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – The Illinois College women's soccer team remains unbeaten after a 1-1 draw with Augustana on Wednesday night at England Stadium.

The result moved both teams to a 1-0-1 record overall.

The first half of the match saw strong defensive performances from both sides, preventing any significant scoring opportunities.

Illinois College took the lead when Haley Sommer scored an unassisted goal at the 51:20 mark. Despite maintaining a solid defense, Illinois College conceded a goal late in the game when Augustana's Giorgia Felicita scored off an assist from Liesl Whitener with just under seven minutes remaining.

Sommer and Olivia Ralston led the Lady Blues' offense with three shots each. Lauren Sinclair and Brianna Noud also contributed shots for Illinois College.

Sophia Kriegesmann made six saves in goal for Illinois College.

Next, Illinois College will travel to Principia for a match scheduled at 7:00 p.m. tomorrow in Elsah, Ill.
