The University of Illinois Extension is offering a Farm Business Structure Basics Webinar on October 22 to assist producers in selecting the appropriate business structure for a farm or ranch operation.
The webinar will be conducted by staff from Farm Commons, a national nonprofit organization specializing in legal education for farmers, in collaboration with the University of Illinois Extension. The session aims to educate producers on applying straightforward decision-making factors relevant to their situations, including tax advantages and business practices. It will also emphasize preventing problems through good governance.
