Illinois College finishes tenth at Cougar Fall Classic; Jarrett James places sixth individually

The Illinois College men's golf team participated in the Illinois Central College Cougar Fall Classic at Metamora Fields Golf Course, finishing 10th overall with scores of 310 and 307, totaling +48 for the two rounds.

Jarrett James led the Blueboys with a notable performance, securing 6th place individually by posting rounds of 71 and 73, ending the tournament at +2.

In Round 1, James led with a score of 71. Tobin Nell and Teddy Walbaum each posted rounds of 79, while Cole Bartels completed the scoring with an 81.

Round 2 saw improvement for the team. James again led with a round of 73. Bartels improved to shoot a +5 (76), and Walbaum along with Myles Kampwerth contributed rounds of 79.

James continues to make his mark in the record books by tying his own record for the lowest 36-hole total at 144.

Next, the Blueboys will compete in the Midwest Region Fall Classic hosted by Benedictine University at Brighton Dale Golf Links in Kansasville, Wisconsin this weekend.
