The Chatham Police Department and the city’s library hosted their annual Children’s Bicycle Rodeo last Wednesday night, featuring a variety of events for local children. State Representative Mike Coffey attended the event to show his support for the Chatham community. Activities included bicycle challenges, a petting zoo, tattoo and balloon artists, and photo opportunities with characters such as Paw Patrol and Elmo.
“Chatham is absolutely a great community and the city is committed to fostering an environment that educates kids through fun family events,” said Rep. Coffey. “It’s all about building a better future for our families and our kids, and that’s what we are fighting for in November.”
In addition to attending the bike rodeo, Rep. Coffey hosted a social event at Scoop Du Jour in Chatham to discuss state issues with constituents from the 95th District. The gathering provided an opportunity for dialogue while children enjoyed ice cream.
