Illinois College Esports wins opening MEC Rocket League match against Glenville State

The Illinois College Esports team began their MEC Rocket League season on Tuesday with a match against Glenville State University. The team secured a 3-0 victory.

In the first game, Illinois College (IC) won 4-2. They followed this with a 5-0 win in the second game and concluded with a 5-1 victory in the third game.

The individual match statistics were as follows: Dwight Duijneveld scored 3 goals, made 5 assists, had 2 saves, and took 12 shots. Glenn Conway contributed with 4 goals, 3 assists, 5 saves, and took 14 shots. Kieran Powers led the scoring with 7 goals, made 3 assists, had 4 saves, and took 7 shots.

This result places IC at a record of 1-0 in MEC Rocket League play and an overall season record of 3-2.
