The Illinois College women's golf team secured a victory at the Country Club Classic, held at Jacksonville Country Club on Monday. The Lady Blues triumphed in a fifth-score playoff against John A. Logan.

The team shot a combined score of 326, with Shelby Seiler leading the way by shooting an 80 and finishing tied for second overall. Katie Mae Milhiser and Kate Burr contributed rounds of 81 each, while Emily Guest completed the scoring with an 84.

At the end of regular play, Illinois College and John A. Logan were tied with scores of 326. The tie led to a fifth-score playoff where Hannah Harpster's score of 86 surpassed John A. Logan's fifth score of 88, clinching the win for Illinois College.

Katie Mae Milhiser and Kate Burr both finished tied for fourth place in the tournament. This event marked the final tournament for the fall season before the conference tournament begins next weekend.

The women's golf team will compete next in the SLIAC Women's Golf Championship at Metamora Fields Country Club starting Sunday, concluding their fall season with a three-day tournament.
