The Illinois College Esports team faced Coe College in their final match of the night in a MVEC Rocket League contest. Illinois College secured a 4-0 victory, bringing their overall record to 2-1 for the season.
The match scores were as follows: Game 1 ended with an 8-2 win, Game 2 concluded at 5-1, Game 3 finished at 3-1, and Game 4 closed with a decisive 5-0 victory.
Key players included Dwight Duijneveld, who recorded eight goals, six assists, two saves, and fifteen shots. Glenn Conway also contributed significantly with eight goals, seven assists, and eighteen shots. Kieran Powers added five goals, three assists, three saves, and five shots to the team's performance.
Illinois College will continue their MVEC Rocket League season on Monday, October 28th against Simpson College at 7:00 PM.
