The Illinois College men's cross country team participated in the NCAA D-II Pre-National meet on Friday at the LaVern Gibson Championship Course in Terre Haute, Indiana. The event took place under the lights, providing a unique setting for the competition.
Robby Biesenthal led the Blueboys with a time of 27:45.27. Devin Boggs followed closely with a finish time of 28:04.0, and Nick Hannig completed his run in 28:50.7. Ryan Gerdes was another runner from Illinois College to finish under 30 minutes, clocking in at 29:16.3.
Other participants included Jack Bacon, who finished in 30:29.6; Camden Pierce, who posted a time of 30:35.9; and Caden Dettmer, who was just behind Pierce with a time of 30:37.8.
Bradyn Anderson completed his race with a time of 31:05.3, while Gabe Roberts concluded the team's efforts by finishing in 31:45.3.
Looking ahead, the Blueboys are set to compete again on Saturday, October 19th at the Augustana Interregional Invitational in Rock Island, Illinois. The race is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m.
