Lincoln Land Community College (LLCC) celebrated the completion of a remodel of Menard Hall in Springfield, Illinois. The event marked a significant enhancement in student services on campus. This project, which began in 2023, received funding assistance from the State of Illinois.
State Representative Rosenthal attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony and later participated in a meeting with the Illinois Community College Board (ICCB). During this meeting, he discussed legislation affecting community college students and strategies for improving education. He emphasized the importance of affordable tuition and textbooks as well as maintaining a strong mindset for academic success.
"Community Colleges in Illinois are fantastic institutions for students who want a high-quality education for their future career in the workforce," stated Rep. Rosenthal. "We have some of the best Community Colleges that accommodate an array of curriculums to all students."
Rep. Rosenthal is involved with both the Higher Ed-Scholarship & Tuition Assistance Subcommittee and the Higher Education Committee.
