The Illinois College women's golf team concluded their 2024 season with a fourth-place finish at the SLIAC Championships held at Metamora Fields Golf Course. The team's performance marked the second-lowest 54-hole team total in the college's history.

In the first round, Illinois College was in second place, trailing Grinnell College, with a score of 333. Kate Burr led the team with a score of 77 (+5). Despite an improvement of 11 strokes on the second day, Illinois College fell to fourth place overall. Key contributors included Kate Burr (76), Katie Mae Milhiser (80), Hannah Harpster (82), and Shelby Seiler (84). The final day saw another strong performance from Burr (77) and Milhiser (78), culminating in a team score of 324.

Kate Burr finished sixth in the tournament, achieving a +14 score over three rounds (77, 76, 77) and earning First-Team All-Conference honors. She set a new school record for the lowest 54-hole total score at 230, surpassing her previous record of 233 set last year.

Katie Mae Milhiser also received recognition as Second-Team All-Conference. Emily Guest was honored with the sportsmanship award by the conference.

Grinnell College secured victory in the championships with a +9 total over three rounds. They dominated both team and individual categories. Lake Forest took second place by two strokes over Spalding, which finished third ahead of Illinois College by 16 strokes.

This event marks the end of Illinois College's fall season; they will resume competition in April for their spring season.
