The Illinois College Lady Blues secured a victory against Knox College on Wednesday evening in Galesburg, Illinois. The team emerged victorious with a final score of 2-1.

Trista Walker opened the scoring for Illinois College with a goal in the 11th minute, giving the Lady Blues a lead that they maintained through the first half. Emma Huelskamp increased their advantage by converting a penalty kick in the 69th minute. Despite pressure from Knox College, known as the Prairie Fire, Illinois College's defense managed to hold firm and preserve their lead until the end of the match.

Cassidy Tacker played an essential role for the Lady Blues as their goalkeeper, making five saves during the game.

Illinois College is set to host Ripon College on Saturday for Senior Day at 1:30 PM.
