The Midwest Conference (MWC) has announced its preseason poll for women's soccer, with Illinois College's Lady Blues projected to finish sixth in the standings. The team garnered 26 points for the upcoming 2023 season.

Grinnell College and Lake Forest College are tied at the top of the poll. Last year, Lake Forest secured second place in the MWC, while Grinnell achieved both regular season and tournament titles for the first time since 2006.

The Lady Blues will rely on key players such as Haley Sommer, a Second Team All-Conference honoree. Sommer led her team with five goals last season and topped the points chart with ten.

Hunter Gray is at the helm of Illinois College's team as head coach for his fourth year.

Here are the complete results of the preseason poll:

4. Lawrence University (1) - 42 points

5. Cornell College - 34 points
