Illinois College volleyball falls to St. Norbert at Wisconsin Lutheran Quadrangular

Illinois College’s volleyball team concluded its participation in the Wisconsin Lutheran Quadrangular on Saturday with a 3-0 loss to St. Norbert. The match scores were 25-20, 25-20, and 25-19 in favor of St. Norbert, who improved their season record to 7-2. The Lady Blues now hold a 2-3 record.

Delani Klaas led Illinois College offensively, recording nine kills and hitting .286. Riley Drake also finished with nine kills and added nine digs. Alyssa Burglund contributed three block assists during the match. On defense, Reagan Oster had a team-high 12 digs, while Mady Salisbury provided 11.

Setters Summer Brandis and Kahli O'Neal combined for a total of 24 assists in the match, with Brandis also registering an ace.

Summer Brandis reached a career milestone during the first set by surpassing 2,000 career assists. She is now fifth all-time in Illinois College’s record book for career assists.

The Lady Blues will return home to Sherman Gymnasium for their next game against Greenville University on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.
