The Illinois College men's and women's golf teams secured victories against Blackburn College in a recent competition held in Carlinville, Illinois. The men's team achieved a total score of 307, while the women's team concluded with a score of 324.
Cole Bartels, Nathan Ellis, and Peter Hauser led the men's team by tying for first place with individual scores of 73. Dane Huber and Tobin Nell also performed well, both tying for fourth place with scores of 77.
On the women's side, Olivia Quigley claimed first place with a score of 78. Kate Burr followed closely in second place with a score of 79, and Alyvia Burr took third place scoring 81.
Both teams are set to compete next at the Midwest Region Tournament hosted by Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois on Sunday at 1:00 PM.
