The Midwest Conference has released its preseason poll for women's swimming and diving, with Illinois College slated to finish in eighth place. The team garnered 21 points for the upcoming 2023-24 season.

Grinnell College is projected to lead the conference, receiving 62 points and six first-place votes. Grinnell has held the title of MWC champions for the past two years consecutively.

Illinois College returns nine student-athletes from last year's roster while introducing three newcomers. Among them, senior Jenna Kenning made notable achievements last season by winning first place in the 50-yard breaststroke with a time of 34.94 seconds and securing second place in the 100-yard IM with a time of 1:05.59 at the IC Quad Meet Invite. Her performance earned her an MWC Performer of the Week honor.

The Lady Blues will begin their new season on October 21, participating in a double dual meet hosted by Millikin University.
