The Illinois College Blueboys men's golf team participated in the SLIAC Men's Golf Championships held in Carlinville, Illinois, from Sunday to Tuesday. The team finished fifth overall with a score of 923.
Cole Bartels led the team by tying for seventh place individually, scoring 225 over three rounds. Jarrett James and Tanner Romine also performed well, both tying for 18th place with scores of 231. Samuel Frericks tied for 25th place with a score of 237, while Tobin Nell secured the 31st position with a score of 240.
Bartels received First Team All-Conference honors for his performance. Nell was recognized on the All-Sportsmanship Team.
This event concludes the Blueboys' spring season for 2023 as they prepare to return in Fall 2023.
