Adam Hernandez and Dylan Doss achieved notable performances for the Illinois College men's track and field team at the Greenville Select Meet held at Francis Field.

Hernandez, a freshman from Pawnee, Illinois, secured second place in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.94 seconds. Meanwhile, Doss, also a freshman hailing from Sterling, Illinois, finished second in the 100 meters clocking in at 10.85 seconds and took third place in the long jump with a distance of 7.04 meters.

In other events, Deon Rodgers claimed third place in the discus throw with a mark of 42.15 meters. Xander Moushon finished fourth in the hammer throw with a performance measuring 49.53 meters.

The team's relay squad also performed well, securing third place in the 4 x 100-meter relay with a time of 42.66 seconds.

Illinois College is set to compete again next week at the Rose-Hulman Twilight event in Terre Haute, Indiana on Friday night.
