The Illinois College women's soccer team faced a narrow defeat against Grinnell, with the final score being 1-0 in a Midwest Conference match held at England Stadium. This loss marked their first in conference play, adjusting their record to 8-3-3 overall and 0-1-2 in the conference. Meanwhile, Grinnell's victory improved their standing to 6-4-1 overall and 3-1-0 in the conference.

The sole goal of the match came early when Joshi Rama scored for Grinnell with a shot from the left side. Despite outshooting Grinnell 12 to 8, Illinois College could not find the back of the net. Aliza Rodriquez led her team with four shots, while Olivia Ralston and Lauren Sinclair contributed two each.

Sophia Kriegesmann played as goalkeeper for Illinois College throughout the match, recording four saves.

The Lady Blues are scheduled to play next against Monmouth on Wednesday in another Midwest Conference match starting at 3:30 p.m.
