IC esports emerged victorious in a close match against Drury University, winning 2-1 on Sunday night. The team had to overcome a strong start by Drury players Killerguy and Baymax in game 1. IC made strategic changes, including a substitution and a roleswap, which played a significant role in their comeback.
Ethan "IC Hulk" Elmore was brought in to play jungle while Dave "Holmgeirr" Thompson switched to the top lane. Their contributions were pivotal in the reverse sweep. Zach "Subsidize" Dimond took control of game 2 with his Zeri performance and the team fighting composition drafted by IC.
In the decisive game 3, Christian "Cvara" Varacalli's shotcalling and playmaking skills combined with Hulk's Gwen pick led to an intense comeback victory. Tristan "Loneforce" Fissette also made significant contributions with his Karma pick, going 2-0 during the series.
