IC Esports faced off against the University of Minnesota in a best-of-three series, resulting in a 1-2 loss for IC. Despite being the underdogs, IC started strong with a victory in the first game. Seniors Dave Thompson, known as "Holmgeirr," and Ethan Elmore, "IC Hulk," delivered impressive performances using Sett and Olaf. Their efforts helped IC gain an advantage with three drakes to one against Minnesota.

Christian Varacalli, or "Temporary," played Sylas and made several aggressive moves that led to key plays. His performance culminated in a decisive team fight win for IC.

In the second game, IC's bot lane duo Tim Blackwell ("Timmy Tam") and Tristan Fissette ("Loneforce") showed early dominance. They secured the first three drakes due to their pressure and Blackwell's strategic shotcalling. However, Minnesota's mid laner Malefic Truth on Corki turned the tide with his abilities, leading to a victory for Minnesota and pushing the series to a third game.

The final match saw Minnesota take an early lead that proved too much for IC to overcome. Despite their efforts, IC could not recover, resulting in a convincing win for the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers.
