The Illinois College Esports program is set to host the 2024 Midwest Esports Conference Spring Finals in collaboration with Unified Gaming Fanfest. The event will take place on April 6-7 at King Fieldhouse, sponsored by i3 Broadband.
This two-day event will feature at least 14 teams and over 75 competitors from various locations. Participants will compete in games such as Rocket League, Valorant, Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros, and League of Legends.
The MEC Rocket League Championship is scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM on Sunday, April 7. It will be followed by the conference's award show starting at 11:30 AM. The MEC League of Legends Championship match will conclude the event on April 7, beginning at noon.
