Illinois College men’s cross country places fifth at MWC Championships

The Illinois College men's cross country team secured fifth place at the Midwest Conference Championship held on Saturday at the Grinnell College Golf Course in Grinnell, Iowa.

Leading the Blueboys was Devin Boggs, who finished first for his team and 28th overall with a time of 27:36.74. Nick Hannig followed closely, taking 31st place with a time of 27:48.60, while Elgin Scherff completed his run in 35th position at 28:05.02.

Other notable performances included Robby Biesenthal's 46th place finish with a time of 28:28.41 and Will Detmer's completion of the race in 54th place with a time of 28:57.48. Gabe Roberts crossed the line in 61st place at 29:36.10, and Caden Dettmer finished in 63rd position with a time of 29:50.62.
