The Illinois College E-Sports team achieved a significant victory against Glenville State in the first round of the UCL Valorant playoffs. The team secured a 2-0 win, demonstrating their strong performance.

In the match, Illinois College dominated both games. They won the first game with a score of 13-2 and continued their success in the second game with a 13-4 result. This victory was attributed to a collective team effort, with three players achieving approximately 35 kills over the two-game series.

Noah Horsman led the team with an impressive 39 kills. His teammates Dwight Duijneveld and Zeynai Zeynalov contributed significantly as well, adding up to a combined total of 70 kills. Duc Kien Nguyen excelled in leading the attack for Illinois College with nine plants, while Jose Izaguirre-Gomez supported his team effectively by providing eight assists.

The team's next challenge will be against Pratt Community College on Thursday, November 7th. The time for this upcoming playoff match is yet to be determined.
