Today marks Wreaths Across America Day, a nationwide event dedicated to honoring veterans by placing wreaths at their graves. The initiative aims to remember and pay tribute to those who have served the nation.
The tradition began in 2007 when the Worcester family, with assistance from veteran organizations and other groups involved in their annual wreath ceremony at Arlington, established Wreaths Across America. This effort seeks to ensure that the legacy of veterans continues to be remembered and respected.
"Wreaths Across America Day" encourages communities across the country to participate in this meaningful day of remembrance.
