Illinois residents will experience changes in state laws starting January 1, 2025. Governor Pritzker signed several bills into law after they passed through the Illinois statehouse during the Spring session. These new laws include a minimum wage increase, the introduction of digital driver's licenses, and replacing the term 'offender' with 'justice impacted individuals.'

Republicans are advocating for more impactful legislation aimed at reducing property taxes, enhancing public safety, and fostering economic growth. "We must work together to move Illinois in the right direction so families and businesses can thrive," stated one Republican representative.

Constituents are encouraged to share their opinions on important issues in Illinois by completing a legislative survey.
