On January 27, 2025, Rep. Budzinski expressed concern over efforts by President Trump to limit communication from agencies such as the CDC and FDA. She encouraged individuals to seek reliable health information from state resources like the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH). "I'm worried about President Trump's efforts to limit communication from agencies like the CDC and FDA. I encourage people to turn to Illinois state resources, like @IDPH, for reliable, nonpartisan health information from experts."

The following day, January 28, 2025, she highlighted the potential benefits of artificial intelligence in agriculture after visiting DigitalAgUIUC. She noted that digital innovations could enhance efficiency and sustainability while reducing costs for farmers. "AI has immense potential for agriculture, with digital innovations to help farmers increase efficiency, reduce costs and improve sustainability. I loved seeing some of these new technologies in action at @DigitalAgUIUC!"

Later on January 28, Rep. Budzinski reminded constituents that tax season had begun in Illinois and suggested using the IRS Free File tool to ease the process of filing taxes. "Tax season has begun in Illinois! Filing your taxes is never fun but it can be less stressful if you use the new IRS Free File tool."
