Jena Sellers achieved notable success in a women's swimming and diving dual meet, securing two victories for Illinois College. Despite her strong performance, North Central emerged victorious with a score of 118-102 at the Central High School pool in Naperville, Illinois.
Sellers clinched first place in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 26.79 seconds and also triumphed in the 100-yard freestyle, finishing in 1:00.45. In addition to Sellers' achievements, Illinois College's Abbey Glaser won the 1,000-yard freestyle event with a time of 12:12.48. Abby Stevens added another win for the team by completing the 500-yard freestyle in 5:49.04.
The Lady Blues are scheduled to compete against Millikin at the Coultas Natatorium on Saturday in their final home contest of the season. The dual meet is set to begin at noon.
