Illinois College wins against Central College in MVEC Overwatch match

Carter Naeve made an impressive debut for Illinois College in their 4-0 victory over Central College on Wednesday night. This result evens Illinois College's record to 1-1 at the start of the MVEC Overwatch season.

The match featured four games: Control at Lijiang Tower, Push at Colosseo, Escort at Junker Town, and Hybrid at King's Row. Lucas Schultz led Illinois College with a remarkable performance, achieving 52 eliminations and 54 assists while keeping his deaths to just 13, resulting in a KDA of 7.57. Dwight Duijneveld also performed well with 50 eliminations and 49 assists. The team maintained control throughout the series.

Carter Naeve was highlighted for his performance with statistics showing 37 eliminations, 56 assists, and an impressive KDA of 8.45. Meryn Davis and Theo Biela contributed significantly as well.

Illinois College will face Cornell College next on Wednesday, January 29th for another MVEC match starting at 7:00 pm.
