The Illinois College men's tennis team achieved a decisive 7-0 victory over Illinois Valley Community College at the Bellatti Tennis Complex on Friday. The match, affected by windy conditions, saw IC dominate both in doubles and singles competitions.
In doubles, Glenn Conway and Jeff Wernsing secured a win at No. 1, while Tejas Zala and Andrus Dupre won at No. 2. Grayson Dupre and Titus Ashford completed the sweep with their victory at No. 3.
Singles matches followed suit with IC maintaining their momentum. Victories were claimed by Zala (No. 1), Wernsing (No. 2), Conway (No. 3), Andrus Dupre (No. 4), Grayson Dupre (No. 5), and Ashford (No. 6).
This marks IC's second complete sweep of the season with a score of 7-0.
The Blueboys are set to compete again tomorrow against Olivet Nazarene at the Bellatti Tennis Complex, starting at 4:00 p.m.
