The Illinois College men's tennis team faced a tough challenge against the Milwaukee School of Engineering, resulting in a 7-0 defeat on Tuesday evening at the Bellatti Tennis Complex in Jacksonville, Illinois.
MSOE secured the doubles point by winning all three matches, setting a strong tone for the rest of the competition. The Raiders continued their dominance by winning all six singles matches. Notably, IC's Glenn Conway pushed MSOE's Clark Rue to a second-set tiebreaker at No. 3 singles but ultimately lost with scores of 6-1, 7-6 (7-5).
Looking ahead, the Blueboys are scheduled to travel to Pella, Iowa on Saturday for matches against Central at 10:00 a.m. and Wartburg at 1:00 p.m.
