Illinois College loses to Webster in men's tennis match

The Illinois College men's tennis team faced a defeat in a non-conference match against Webster University on Sunday at the Bellatti Tennis Complex in Jacksonville, Illinois. The final score was 5-2 in favor of the Gorlocks.

Webster University started strong, securing the doubles matches to gain the first point. The Illinois College team, known as the Blueboys, managed to win two of the singles matches. Jeff Wernsing was victorious in the No. 2 singles match, while Titus Ashford won at No. 6 singles.

Looking ahead, the Blueboys are set to play against Westminster in another non-conference match scheduled for Wednesday at 4:00 p.m.
